He has various accolades to his credit, which includes the numerous research papers that he has published in/other than Refereed/Peer Reviewed Journals. Along with this he has provided research guidance in the form of Supervision of awarded Doctoral Thesis and Supervision of awarded M.Phil. dissertations. He has attended a number of conferences of national and international repute at various places such as Sydney, USA, Brazil, Tokyo, Switzerland, and Holland and Delhi, Patna, Mumbai and Lucknow in India.
Prof. Suresh Chand Aggarwal has various research projects to his credit which includes being the Principal Investigator, E-Pathshala- Content Development for PG in Business Economics, by UGC; 2012, "Risk Management Strategies of Indian Banks: A Comparative Study of Different Categories of Banks" awarded by UGC in March 2012 along with Dr. Yogieta Mehra and Prof. Rashmi Agrawal for two years – 1st July 2012 to 30th June 2014; 2008, "Magnitude and Characteristics of Child Labour in Selected areas of NCR- A Case Study of Selected Industries," awarded by UGC in March 2006 for two years – 1st July 2006 to 30th June 2008 and Report submitted to UGC in October 2008; 2005, "Life after VRS: Experience of Public Sector Banks in India,"> awarded by UGC in March 2003 for two years – 1st July 2003 to 30th June 2005. Report submitted in August 2005. Along with this he was an External Consultant to Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations, as a lead researcher on Labour for India KLEMS project from Sept 2009 to August 2011.
He proudly holds the membership of various Professional Bodies such as Indian Society of Labour Economics, Indian Econometrics Society, International Association of Research in Income and Wealth, and Society for the Measurement of Economics.
