His specialization lies in Human resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Psychological Assessment, Applied Social Psychology, Career Development/Planning and Human Resource Development. He was awarded Global Practitioner of the Year-2015 by National Career Development Association, USA at Denver, USA on 30th June, 2015 and Life Time Achievement Award in Psychology by the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Healthcare on the 14th January, 2014 held at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

Prof. N.K. Chadha proudly holds the membership of various Professional Bodies such as Fellow, Institute of Career Certification International, USA; President: India Career Development Association; President, Indian Association of Positive Psychology; Country Director: Asia Pacific Career development Association; Task Force Member, Performance Management Division, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India; Panel of Judge of Prime Minister's Trophy for the year 2009-2010, 2010-2011 , and 2013-2014; Chairman, Governing Body, Satyawati College, University of Delhi; Member of National and International Scientific Committees; Member of fifteen scientific professional bodies in India and Abroad; Editorial Board member of National and International journals; and Member of Selection Committees of various universities across the country and private sector organization for recruitment at middle and top level positions. Along with this he was also an Advisor RDSO (Lucknow) Ministry of Railway for Psycho-Technical work and Trainer to many Indian corporate houses and Multinational Companies on various HRD, HRM and Human Development Issues, and Pre-Retirement Preparation.

He has completed various projects funded by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of HRD, Indian Council of Social Research, Indian Council of Medical Research, Defence Institute of Psychological Research, University Grants Commission (Indian). He has also travelled to countries like USA, UK, Japan, New Zealand, Malta, Spain, Germany, France, Sweden, Hungary, The Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Italy, Bangkok, Taipei and Hong Kong on various Academic assignments. In addition to this he has supervised a number of research studies which includes PhD. Thesis, M.Phil and M.A. Dissertations.

His focal areas of training includes organizing various Inter-Company Programs on various aspects like Human Resource Management and Development, Selection, Placement, Performance Appraisal, Leadership Stress Management, Behavioral skills Development, HRD Instruments, Teamwork Skills, Personal Development, Time Management, Counseling and Communication Skills, Train the Trainers, Negotiation Skills, Creative Skill Development, Planning for Retirement, Assertiveness, Decision Making/Problem Solving, Managerial Effectiveness, Motivation Skills, Role Identification and Effectiveness, Understanding the Self and others, Transactional Analysis and Conflict Management.

He is also involved in Development of Psychological tests for the DIPR, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India; Hotel Management and Hospitality, Ministry of Tourism; Private Industries; State Public Administrations; Educomp ; and US based organizations. Along with this he is also the Test Administrator for International Group (UK based) for testing senior level positions for selection and placement In India.
